Oracle Identity Management : How to Import & Export Metadata of OIM 11gR2

1.1. Open Enterprise Manager Console

1.2. Select OIM_Server1 under WebLogic Domain

If you have a clustered environment you can select any one of the servers

1.3. Click on server name and click on System MBean Browser

1.4. Search for Oracle.mds.Icm

1.5. Locate MDSAppRuntime as shown in the figure

And click on Operations Tab

1.6. Select 'first' exportMetadata link

1.7. Enter the location of the directory where you want to export the metadata

Click on Invoke to exportMetada to Specified directory

2.Import Metadata

Perform steps upto 1.5

Instead of selecting exportMetada select 'first' importMetada link

Enter the path from which you want to import metadata from

Click on Invoke to Import Metadata from specified Path
